Uma is a 13-year-old girl from a lower middle-class family, Uma’s world is Uma’s mother and one of her younger sisters, and their worldly condition is very miserable due to the illness of her mother. The desire to get happiness lead her through the kindness of the people in the crowd of Durgapuja, but that greed leads Uma to decline, her upbringing and who she is, portrayed in the same picture with Goddess Durga. The broader mentality is that people pay dearly for the makeover and costumes of Durga, But people who pay for the makeover and costumes of living women will always want to satisfy their grey sides. Harsh but truth of society.
